On a personal note, I wanted to thank you for everything you've given (student). You are one of the best music teachers I've ever encountered (in quite a long career in music). I've learned so much from watching you teach, and appreciate that you make music so accessible to small people without ever compromising on musical concepts or technique. You have such a gift and even though (student) won't be continuing with piano, the way that you have taught her to think about leaning music and breaking down pieces into loops is something she is applying to her violin playing and it's made her a stronger musician overall. Her piano lessons have also helped her understand her theory much better and she sits at the piano to work out things in her head.

Deanne has been an excellent piano teacher to my daughter for over six years now. She has taught my daughter how to play the piano, how to sight read and musical theory. Deanne also gives various techniques on how to improve posture, sends, ins and outs etc and also gives useful guidance on how to practice fast yet effectively.
